Minutes of Mont Vernon Cemetery Trustees
Meeting was held at the Mont Vernon town hall which opened at 7:00 PM. Present were Karen Lindquist and Richard Quintal. Quintal presented an agenda for consideration.
- Minutes of meeting held
22 December 2009 read and certain corrections made. Re Item 4a: remove
“Nashua Telegraph” and insert “Cabinet.” Re Item 4 third line from
last: remove “Nashua Telegraph” and insert “Cabinet.”
Alton Ryder to make these corrections and remove the word “DRAFT” to the 22 December 2009 minutes and repost.
- Lindquist to send check in the amount of $28.78 for plant food to Susan King-Ecklund, 10 S. Main Street, Mont Vernon, NH 03057..
- Cemetery cleanup. Quintal to collect flags and get to Bucky for proper disposal. Discuss w/Bucky the need for a truck to bring to dump abandoned items from lots stored in vault. Lindquist to advise public by newspaper ad of the spring cleanup and by two sandwich boards located on Main Street and Cemetery Road that grave items not removed by April 15will be removed by order of the trustees.
- Lindquist moves that “$200 be used for one ad each in the Nashua Telegraph and the Cabinet advertising spring cleanup similar to the fall cleanup. Quintal seconds. All in favor.
- Quintal reports that Rules are almost 100% drafted and that they should be ready for handout at next regular meeting on April 28.
- Letter to Geisinger re bench installation and resetting. Cite rules.
