Minutes of Mont Vernon Cemetery Trustees
Cemetery trustee meeting was held 13 November 2009 at the town hall, Mont Vernon, NH. Present were Karen Lindquist, bookkeeper and Richard Quintal chair/secretary. Meeting opened at 7:12 PM. Quintal presented an agenda of about 13 items for consideration.
1. Minutes of meetings held on 12 August and 7 October 2009. Members read and voted to approve minutes.
2. Cemetery and web postings of maps and minutes were not discussed due to absence of trustee Alton Ryder.
3. Trustee meeting dates and times was discussed. Presently future meetings are ‘as required.’ Trustees agreed to adopt date/time certain for future (2010) meetings. Date/times are dependent on availability of town hall meeting room. Quintal to work out details with selectmen’s staff. Scheduled meetings would run every three weeks from April 1 to December 1 concurrent with open/closing of cemetery. Unscheduled meetings could be called at any time to supplement scheduled meetings.

5. Trustees discussed a cemetery cleanup notice recently published in the Keene Sentinel. Size and language of notice appears appropriate to use a similar notice for Mont Vernon that a cleanup will be held after 5 December and that all items be removed from lots. Lindquist moves to spend up to an estimated $150 to run such notice in the Cabinet and Telegraph. Quintal seconds. All vote in the affirmative.

Quintal allowed him to remove the gate. Lindquist moves $300 be spent on gate repair and installation. Quintal seconds. All in favor.
